Beginner Courses
We offer regular fencing beginner classes for all ages. The beginner classes are held at the club on Mondays and last for six weeks. We request payment upfront at the beginning of the course as we have to cap the numbers for the sessions.
At the end of the course you will have an understanding about:
The session will consist of a warm-up, footwork session, followed by bladework and then some free fencing. For the class, you'll need to wear trainers, a t-shirt, and tracksuit bottoms (shorts not allowed). All other fencing equipment is provided. You may want to bring a bottle of water with you.
Fencing only requires an ordinary level of fitness. It will help to improve your stamina, flexibility, fitness and concentration. It's challenging, exciting, and great fun.
